Mission Statement/Role

The MHAuxiliary to the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital shall function in accordance with the mission of the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital, and ensure that its activities are in concert with the activities of the hospital

The purpose of the MHAuxiliary shall be to assist the hospital in every possible way in the best interest of patient care and general operations, with the guidance and support of the Board of Trustees.

This purpose shall be accomplished in the following ways:

1. By supporting the services rendered by the hospital personnel, giving them greater opportunity to do the work for which they are prepared.
   
   
2. By promoting a positive relationship between the hospital and the community, and acting as a representative of each to one another.
    

3. By fundraising in a manner complementary to the activities of the Board of Trustees and in harmony with community expectations. 

4. By acting as patient representatives when the need arises.
