OUR MISSION STATEMENT: “To enhance patient care at the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital by encouraging philanthropic giving through fundraising along with the prudent management of donor funds.”

OUR VALUES: The Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital Foundation has formally adopted Imagine Canada's (formerly the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy) Ethical Fund-raising and Financial Accountability Code as its policy. In accordance with the “Code”, we will:

• clearly explain our priorities and the purpose for which we are raising funds;
• be fiscally responsible with the donations/gifts entrusted to us by our donors;
• act with integrity, honesty and openness;
• ensure that donor funds are used effectively for the purpose for which they were given;
• respect the privacy of our donors by not selling or exchanging their anonymity;
• conduct ourselves with sensitivity and professionalism.
